Our People
Podcaster, Lighting Designer, Techie, Foodie, Railfan.
Founder, Host and Engineering Director
Joe Dugandzic has been podcasting since 2008, but has been involved in digital media for many years. Many people have told him over the years that he had a great ‘radio voice’, and it makes sense, as he was an avid listener of local Valley radio talk shows while growing up. An IT Professional by day, and an entrepreneur and media enthusiast by night, Joe was inspired by major shows on the Internet such as Feast of Fun, Invasion of the Pod People, The 404, among others. This led him to create QTalk Arizona in 2010. Further inspiration from TWiT.tv and an attempt to serve a larger audience than a single podcast was capable of, QTalk Arizona became a podcast network in 2011. Joe somehow roped many of his friends who already had varied interests, into becoming talk show hosts on QTalk Arizona. And today, the network has seven podcast series–with more on the way. Joe feels that QTalk Arizona can give back to the community by bringing people together throughout Arizona. Joe hosts several talk shows on the network.
Joe has been involved with the local LGBT community for many years, starting out being a participant in the 1n10 youth program in the late ’90s and serving on the Phoenix Pride Board of Directors and doing fundraising for Aunt Rita’s Foundation’s events. Joe is currently single, hoping that Mr. Wonderful will show up sometime soon and loves living in Downtown Phoenix.
Car Enthusiast, Lover of the Finer Things in Life, Idea Guy
Producer and Host of “KarCast“
Jacob has been a automotive enthusiast for, well, forever — at least we think so! Jacob came to Joe in the early months of 2011 and suggested a car show, with eventual expansion as a video podcast. Well, it’s still audio-only, but the plans for the video continue. Jacob loves some of the finer things in life, including luxury and sports cars. He’s always got that next great business idea up his sleeve and even his own ideas for developing custom cars. He’s an avid watcher of the development of today’s electric car movement as well as other alternative-fuel vehicles.
Auto Enthusiast, Do-It-Yourself-Guy, Techie, Part-Time Tasmanian Devil
Co-Host of “KarCast”
Dave Cathey hasn’t yet found a vehicle he didn’t like. Well, to clarify, he hasn’t found a vehicle that he couldn’t change to fit his liking. And where does the techie meet the ‘car guy’? Yep, he’s got a Prius in the family. Dave definitely has an interest in some of the awesome sports and muscle cars that out today, but has a keen interest on yesterday’s cars. Where does the Tasmanian Devil thing fit into all of this? Well, just listen to Dave’s super-excitable personality on the show and you’ll find out!
Proud Mom, Community Activist, Wonderwoman
Co-Producer and Co-Host of “The Joe and Babe Show“
It’s not just that Babe is a mom in real life, but she likes to think of all of her 1n10 kids as her own children too. Babe and Joe Dugandzic go way back to his 1n10 days, and it’s fitting that now they’re working again together on Internet radio. Babe has been involved in the local LGBT community since the early 1990s and she’s always offered a helping hand or inspiring words to those who may need them. Babe used to be on the radio with her own show ‘back in the day’ and was thrilled at the opportunity to get back on the airwaves. And, Wonderwoman? Well, as she says, “we’re taking over the town!” There’s nothing that Babe couldn’t accomplish if she set her mind to it, we’re sure of that!
Fierce Drag Queen, Founding Member of AZ Gender Outlaws, Theatrical Wizard
Producer and Host of “All That Glitters“
Pandora DeStrange decided to unite the drag community of Phoenix when she moved here years ago from a far away land. Over time, she has succeed in elevating drag to a new level of performance and entertaining audiences across the entire State. She and her Arizona Gender Outlaws conspire to create bring events of drag terrorism to a local venue near you. Be on the lookout for their minions and antics wherever you might be!
Sidekick on “The Show with Clayton McKee“
After nearly 15 years as a professional homosexual, Buddy Early has gone on to smaller and worse things, making “The Show with Clayton McKee” a perfect fit for him. As the former Managing Editor at both Echo Magazine and Compete, the Gay Sports Magazine, Buddy gained a keen insight into the community, its people, places, politics and peculiarities. (Hey, that was unintended alliteration!) His years of performing sketch and improvisational comedy have given him the perfect blend of over-confidence and self-loathing necessary for a radio sidekick on a earnest-yet-fledgling gay podcast. Currently he is enjoying a self-imposed exile from all things gay, making this radio show his only link to the community he once served so proudly. Might he one day be welcomed back into the Gay Mafia with open arms? Or will he continue to ostracize himself from everyone who loved and respected him? Listen to The Show to find out.
Therapist, Spiritual Guide, ‘The Oracle’ of QTalk AZ
Producer and Host of “The Dr. Dina Hour“
Dr. Dina Evan is a kind soul, with lots of advice and help for you in case yours has gone astray. Nope, we’re not talking about religious mumbo-jumbo, but just great spiritual advice intermingled with some therapy and a side of reality. Dr. Dina understands and explains the world around us like no one we’ve ever met and we’re thrilled she’s with us. She’s a mother, personal and spiritual counselor, author and has a great sense of humor. She writes columns for several publications and is excited to once again be on the radio, this time in a whole new way. ”The Oracle”? Well, we just thought that fit!

Coffee Enthusiast, Techie, Apple Fanboy
Co-Producer and Co-Host of “TechnoBabble“
Bradly McComb has been a technology enthusiast for many, many years. But, he’s definitely on the Apple side of the aisle. Not that he can’t find his way around a Windows PC, but he definitely subscribes to the Steve Jobs mantra. Most everything in Bradly’s world revolves around simplicity, an Apple trait to be sure. Coffee? Well, he recently wondered how he would have lived through these last few crazy years without it. As for the techie side, whether it’s the multi-terabyte SAN setup at home for media consumption or his Google voice-to-iPad-to-something-else-at-home setup, he’s got it all down. And yeah, sorry boys, Brad’s quite taken by his partner Jacob of many years.
Host and Producer of “The Show with Clayton McKee“
A voice in the Valley of the Sun since 1993, Clayton came to Arizona from his home town of Joplin, MO. With the gift of gab and a talent doing character voices he landed his first radio gig on an AM/FM station where listeners knew him as Alan Michaels. Enjoying meeting people, he took his radio show “on-the-road” where he cruised main with his cousin on Friday nights broadcasting from the station’s van. Knowing he needed to be true to himself, a move to Phoenix was where he found the comfort and acceptance of a great family in the staff of the former “Wink’s Cabaret” where he was resident show DJ for 10 years, providing color commentary and smart remarks until it’s close in 2004. Clayton hosts the annual Gay Pride Parade and various other fundraising events throughout the year, on Friday nights you can find him with what he calls the “Boyz and the Booze” on the patio of Charlie’s as he hosts the “Wet Fridays” show. Having the reputation of a sharp (and long) tongue, he routinely gives opinions on varied topics. If you ask him a question be prepared for his honest opinion! Knowing the cast of “The Show” are good friends and talented people, he’s proud to have personally chosen them for this broadcast.
Wine Lover, and, is there more to life than that?
Retired co-host of “Queers! Eat, Drink and Be Fabulous!“
Libbie Miller never met a bottle of wine that she couldn’t call her own. In fact, we think that she’d probably marry a bottle of wine if she had her chance. But, her wife would probably take issue with that! Libbie is a self-proclaimed ‘wine-o’ and has decided to make her non-work life a winding-road-adventure of discovering the world’s wines and winemakers. Food, of course, goes hand-in-hand with wine, and she’s always about finding that great new restaurant. So, if you’re thinking that she is somehow messily loopy on wine all the time, you’re sadly mistaken. She’s a ‘wine-o’ with class, but on the show, we never know what she’s going to say next!
Sidekick on “The Show with Clayton McKee“
MisseyAl was born in Niagara Falls, raised in a gay bar in Buffalo, and starred on ABC’s “Three’s Company” as Joyce DeWitt from the tender age of 10. After 3′s C was cancelled, MisseyAl followed a waitress named Alice to Phoenix to begin a 20 year career in both the gay and straight food and beverage industries. Ten of those years were spent trying to get local 21 year olds to come out to their parents and stop drinking Long Islands. After surpassing Scottsdale’s age and weight limits, MisseyAl went into the field of healthcare so enemas could now be administered professionally. Since losing amateur status the Gay Enema Olympics have never been the same. Some listeners may remember MisseyAl from the hit shows “Lady Nurse” and “Cooking with MisseyAl”. Others may know MisseyAl by the Native American name “Sings Way Too Much”. The rest of you may not know MisseyAl at all, and that’s okay too. MisseyAl (Perkins) can be reached at misseyal@aol.com and someday by Ouija Board.
Co-Host of “The Show with Clayton McKee“
A Minnesota native, Marnie moved to Arizona in 1993. She is an ASU Alumni and has worked both in public and private venues assisting people with disabilities…which makes her participation in “The Show” a good fit. She’s an online ordained minister. Her passions are the Minnesota Vikings, her Subaru (which she didn’t realize was a lesbian referenced car), and Law & Order. When not working from home, where she manages a stable of pets and an impeccable lawn, she can often be found discussing her “You Bet’cha” strategy of life and entertaining the masses with a karaoke song or two. One thing Marnie has always wanted to do was be a talk show sidekick, and while expecting more from that dream, she’s happy to be on “The Show” team. You’ll soon find that Marnie is considered the “voice of reason” within the cast…but not by much!
Blogger, Wine Enthusiast, Postino Shareholder
Co-Host of “Queers! Eat, Drink and Be Fabulous!“
Nathan Treanor has been a blogger for several years, along with being a podcaster of his own series “Nathan OUTloud“. He’s been involved with HRC and other LGBT community organizations, helping to push for equality. But, when it comes down to it, just have a look at Nathan’s foursquare account and you’ll know where his real passion lies. Food and wine! Complete this sentence, you know you’re a ‘wine-o’ when _____. It’s ok, because Nathan teams up with Libbie to bring us the wine perspective on every episode of “Queers!” Food-wise, well, he’s definitely also a foodie at heart. But it would seem that there’s a particular place that he likes to frequent. ’Church’ for Nathan on Sundays is Brunch at Postino. And, yes, if there truly were stock-owning opportunities for those restaurants, he would have been the first shareholder!
Community Activist, Event Planner Extraordinaire, Foodie
Co-Producer and Co-Host of ”Queers! Eat, Drink and Be Fabulous!“
Claudine Wessel is always actively involved in the community. Someone referred to her recently as “Mrs. Gay” and she just cracked up! She feels like she’s not really so involved, but we know better. Whether it’s HRC or the Democratic Party, she’s out to lend a helping hand and get out the message. She started her event-planning work at DisneyWorld (rough job, huh?) several years ago and she really feels like it may be her calling in life. Of course, you can’t plan an event without food! Claudine loves a great restaurant, cafe, dive, whatever…it’s all about great food, creative cooking and presentaiton and great company. Joe Dugandzic has known Claudine for many years and brought the idea of a food and wine show to her. Several weeks later, a show was born!

Hello congratulations on your use of the airwaves as they were intended – for the people. I hold a degree in Communications from the University of Arizona and spent time as the Public Affairs Director at KTKT in Tucson. I was in broadcasting at a time when Fairness was alive and kicking. I produced several Public Affairs programs for KTKT and hosted “Voz de Tucson” geared toward the Chicano community and always provided an opportunity for any minority community to appear on our radio shows. One of the activists at the time called me “The conscience of the community.” This was in the late 70′s. I am touching base with you to see if there might be someway I can help with your efforts, please feel free to contact me at my email. I am currently very involved with Community Church of Hope.
